Testing Microsoft Office 2013

One of my ongoing learning adventures is test software.

I have been testing Office 2013 for Windows on a Windows 8 Pro machine. The installation of the suite went well and I have been using the application as part of my daily work for just under two months. The Suite, coupled with SkyDrive, allow me to work on my documents from any machine. I continue to work with documents using my Desk Top, Lap Top and my RIM Playbook. Overall, it has and continues to be a very positive experience.

I think you will like the new Office 2013 a pleasant surprise.

Making Great Connections

An interesting adventure is one where you shift your thinking and explore the what ifs instead of what is.

I continue to marvel at the many ways we can connect and communicate using tools such as a Blog.

Imagine how many emails we could eliminate if we used a Blog to support projects. It would be great to get updates using tools such as RSS, Chat boards or virtual 3D meeting rooms. There are so many options.

Next time you are wondering about a new way to support a project, let your imagination wander.

You may find a new way to use a tool to make everyone’s life better.
